It is just beautiful here at The Steppes in the Herefordshire sunshine and my girls (bees) are just loving it. My daughter gave me a tiny shrub, a twisty stick really, many moons ago, and it has grown into this beautiful bush with the most delightful little flowers which open really early in the year, March time. As it is one of the first things my bees can forage on. They head for it as soon as the weather warms up a bit (over 10 degrees C). This little video shows you just how much they are enjoying themselves! I am unable to find out its name, as the label has long gone. Is there anyone out there who might recognise this lovely plant?
